Back in February 2018, We took a road trip to visit family in Lake Placid, FL. We were told to check out a little local cafe and from the moment we walked in, we were in love. Everything we ever dreamed our own place could be was right there... from Saturday farmer’s markets, the friendliest people you could meet, and a cozy cafe that felt like grandma’s living room, where everything inside made you feel like you were getting a warm hug. Almost exactly a year later, we got a text that the cafe was for sale. Two days and one big leap of faith later, Morty & Edna’s was born.

Our goal at Morty & Edna’s has always been simple. erve food made from scratch, with love, and packed with nostalgia. We want every dish to bring you back to that childhood comfort, made with care and quality in every bite.

Fast forward to June 2025. After a Wu-Tang concert and a heavy dose of inspiration, Chefs Joey & Jacob decided to spin off a new chapter...  and @The Deli was born. A spot serving up scratch made sammies with serious flavor! House cured pastrami, fresh focaccia & pitas, and pickles that slap so hard. It’s our love for hip hop meeting our love for food. Same heart, new beat.
